The missile is called is call BrahMos, and is the short-range supersonic, ramjet missile which was developed in a joint-venture with Russian and Indian government controlled defense companies.
The name is based on Brahmaputra and Moskva which are Indian and Russian rivers respectively. Currently, the missile is the world's fastest anti-ship cruise missile in operation, with recorded speeds of up to 2.5 and 3 Mach. I.e.3 times faster than sound and is currently under development to increase the speed to 7 mach with a range of 600Km+
