Given :   3x  - 2y  =   4  , x + y  - 3 =  0

To find : draw the graph and find the coordinates of the point where the two graph lines intersect

Solution:

3x  - 2y  =   4

x + y  - 3 =  0

put x = ( 3 - y) in 1st

=> 3(3 - y) - 2y = 4

=> 9 - 5y = 4

=> -5y = -5

=> y = 1

=> x = 2

x 3x-2y = 4 x + y - 3 =0

-3 -6.5            6

-2 -5                 5

-1 -3.5            4

0 -2            3

1 -0.5           2

2 1            1

3 2.5            0

4 4            -1

( 2, 1) is the intersection points
