On a hot day, sweat is formed on the surface of a person's body and it evaporates. (i) explain in terms of the behaviour of molecules the process of evaporation. (ii)explain how this process helps in cooling the body of a person. (iii)state the affect of wind on rate of evaporation

hey mate ,

  1. when molecule near the surface absorbs enough energy to overcome the vapour pressure it will escape and enter the surrounding air as a gas .
  2. The energy removed from the vaporized liquid will reduce the temperature of the liquid, resulting in evaporative cooling.
  3. evaporation is faster on windy day .
