On a particular day, the lowest temperature was - 12°C. The difference between lowest and highest temperatures was 7°C. find the highest temperature on that day.

The difference is 7 c.
lowest temp is -12 c.
The difference = high - lowest
high = lowest - differ
high = -12 -(7)
=-12-7
high = -19 c.
