This is the way I did it
What I did: I just replaced all the g's in formula by a
And solved for it
Another way for solving this is
U calculated time of descent which is actually time of flight divided by 2
Then u use s=ut+1/2at^2
t= 6.25 seconds
s(displacement) = 170 meters
a = ?
u (initial velocity) = 0
s=ut+1/2at^2 => a=2(s-ut)/t^2 , input values to get the value 8.704ms^-2
Hope it helps
