As the numbers are consecutive, the numbers will be as

x, x+1, x+2. They are multiple of 8

Hence,

8x+8(x+1)+8(x+2)=888

8x+8x+8+8x+16 =888

24x+24 =888

24(x+1) =888

x+1. =888÷24

x+1. =37

x. =37-1

x. =36

✍ let the three consecutive number be x, (x +8) , (x + 16 )..✌

⭐ x + (x +8)+(x+16) = 888

=> x + x+8 + x + 16 = 888

=> 3x + 8 + 16 = 888

=> 3x + 24 = 888

=>3x = 888- 24

=> 3x = 864

=> x = 864/ 3

..° x = 288

so, x = 288

⭐ (x + 8) = 288 + 8 = 296

⭐( x + 16) = 288 + 16 = 304

hence , three consecutive no be 288, 296 and 304..
