There is a total of 28 states and 8 union territories that are present in India. On a political map one can easily mark two states each in the north, south, east, and west direction of the country.

• In the north direction, an individual can mark and color the state of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
• In the south direction, we can mark and color the state of Kerala and Karanataka on the political map of India.
• In the east direction, we can mark and color the state of Assam, and Manipur as they are present in the east direction of the country.
• In the west direction, we can mark and color the state of Gujarat, and Rajasthan, as they are present towards the west of the country.
