Flash fiction also known as micro-fiction, sound fiction, quick fiction, and short fiction is a fictional story of below 1500 words, typically below 1000 words. The term is usually used to elucidate short casual works or short works
EXPLANATION:
- One example the Ice Cream Vendor’s Song by Laura Mchale Holland. The author produced a unique, often not very long, collection of short stories. These stories address all the various facets, certain good points and bad points of human nature. These tales will stick with you once you read them.
- They each provide a complete picture, while others cover longer periods. We do all they can, from divorce, failure, good or bad fortune, etc. Neither story deals with the same subject, nor has the same moral / lesson / thought. It was reflective, very interesting, a smorgasbord of life that I find these stories.
- It is not often that a reader reads and leaves with much more, but the writer did. It is not just a book of stories, but a special set of tales that give you much thought to the subjects that the author wants to address. Flash fiction to keep and go back to each time you want something worthwhile or a breath of fresh air which is sweet and short.
