I immediately went to grab it. The basket was a little filled with water. The baby was breathing heavily. I took him to the shaded place. I took my jacket off and took off his wet clothes and wrapped him in my jacket. I Warmed my hands with the blow and soothe his cheeks. I tightly held him so he stops shivering. As soon as the rain stopped, I took him to the hospital. They gave him medicines and guided me about how to take care of him. I went to the police so they can find his parents, and for that time I took the permission to keep him safe by my side.

On a rainy day, roads were blocked with flood and our cars were stuck, the traffic was jam packed. Suddenly I saw an infant in a basket, floating around. I quickly ran to catch him but my foot got stuck in something beneath the water. I tried to get rid of it but failed, I shouted so that someone could hear me and help the infant but sadly no one could quite understand what I was trying to say. I got really worried and scared that I tried to pull my foot out of it with full strength.

Finally, I was able to free myself, I did not try to figure out what was that as I was too worried about the infant, I started running but I felt a pain in my foot, I ignored that and was able to save the infant. When I checked him he was breathing but was not conscious. I started running back to my car with the infant in my arms.

When I saw the condition of the traffic, it did not change and it was still jam packed I take out my phone and looked for the hospitals near-by. Finally, I could find one but it was 10 mins away if I ran non-stop.

I reached the hospital with the injured foot and asked the doctors to check him, they told me right away that there is nothing to worry about he is not serious. That relieved me a little bit and then after a while I heard the infant crying which made me feel relaxed.

That day I realized that no matter how difficult the situation may be, we have more power than we can think, in the state of panic I used my power to free myself from the obstacle and then with that injured foot I ran for 10 mins, that day made me realize that what human beings are actually capable of. Under the state of fear, stress and worry we are are the most powerful.
