On a smooth table her place to blocks in contact a horizontal force of 5 newton is applied on 20 kg block as shown state by word for this block press the 10 kg block if the above force is applied on the other side of the time kg blog then what was the 20 kg block will press the 10 kg block

Answer:

Given the force and the mass, we can get the acceleration.

Force = mass × acceleration

The mass = 20kg

The force = 5 N

F = ma

5 = 2a

a = 5/2

a = 2.5 m/s²

The block accelerates from rest at an acceleration of 2.5 m/s²

Hope it will help you dear friend...

Acceleration a produced by 5 N force on these two blocks which are in contact is given by

a = 5/(20+10) = 1/6 m/s2

20 kg block will push the 10 kg block with force F = 20×(1/6) = (10/3) N

if the force applied from other side on 10 kg block, acceleration will be same.

hence 10 kg block will push the 20 kg block with force = 10×(1/6) = (5/3)N
