On adding phenolphthalein indicator to a colorless solution, no change is observed. What is the nature of this solution?

Answer: Acidic / Neutral solution

Explanation: It is because when we add acidic solution to phenolphthalein, it becomes colourless. If it is a neutral solution, the colour of the phenolphthalein becomes colorless.

The solution is acid cause when phenolphthalein is added to acid it turns colorless and in base it turns pink or red
