Rashtrakuta Dynasty which prevailed across most part of central, southern and northern India had its rule between Sixth to thirteenth centuries. In present day context their rule had been found extended from the Malwa region of central India to the present day Karnataka.
The Pala Empire had been found to be ruling the India between 8th to 12th centuries. Palas were defeated by the Rashtrakuta Empire. It has been found that the empire of Palas extending from a part of modern day Pakistan to West Bengal.
Rajput rule in India had begun back in late 18th century under the influence of Maratha Empire. It has beel found that the states like UP, Punjab, Rajasthan, HP, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, J and K, Mp, Maharashtra and Sindh were ruled by the Rajputs.
Pratihara Empire can also be known as Gujara-Pratihara Dynasty which ruled the most parts of Northern India back in 8th to 11th century. Ujjain and Kannauj were the best known parts of their rule.
