It will be more than original.
For example, let us consider that there were three resistors each of resistance 2 ohm
then
1/Re = 1/2 + 1/2 + 1/2
= 3/2
Therefore, Re= 2/3 = 0.6
1/New resistance = 1/2 + 1/2
=> 1/Re = 2/2= 1
Therefore, Re=1
since 1>0.6, the new resistance is more.
