Answer:

mass=10kg

acceleration due to gravity =9.8m/s square

force= mass ×g

(weight)=10kg× 9.8=98N

Since weight is a perpendicular force on a surface, we derive

W=F=ma (from Newton's 2nd Law of Motion) - where m is mass and a is acceleration

But since the acceleration happening here is under the effect of gravity

W=mg

We calculate the value of 'g' by taking mass of earth, its radius and Gravitational constant and find it to be = 9.8 m/s²

∴ W=mg

W= 10 × 9.8

  = 98 N or kgm/s²

HOPE THIS HELPS ^_^
