On electrotysis 225 g of water gave 25 g of hydrogen and 200 g of oxygen.In another experiment when 10 g of hydrogen gas was burnt with 80 g of oxygen 90 g of water was formed show using three values the validity of law of constant proportion

in the first case,

mass of hydrogen formed=25g

Mass of oxygen=200g

ratio=25:200

=1:8

similarly in the second case

ratio=10:80

=1:8

thus these satements verify law of constant composition.
