Copper sulphate crystals contain water of crystallisation. Hydrated copper sulphate crystals lose their water of crystallisation on being heated and become anhydrous. Anhydrous copper sulphate changes to hydrated copper sulphate. It is a reversible chemical change.CuSO4+5H2O→CuSO4. 5H2O.
