Explanation: when copper sulfate is heated for some time, the blue nonappearances and it becomes white-gray in color. This is because the water molecules are lost on heating and copper sulfate pentathlete is converted to anhydrous copper sulfate. On heating hydrated copper sulfate change its color from WHITE to GRAY.
