On increasing the angular velocity of the earth, the value of g in India
(1) will decrease

(2) will increase

Centripetal acceleration, g (in this case) =

 { \beta }^{2}   \times r

where,

 \beta

is the angular velocity.

So, as angular velocity increases, g will surely increase.

So, option (2) is the correct answer to this particular problem.
