On Internshala we review every internship before it is listed on the platform and approve only those which offer a stipend (except for NGOs). Imagine you have been hired for this role and while reviewing the internships, you come across an unpaid internship submitted by a company. Now you have to call the company official and make her understand why she should pay a stipend to the interns. Please list down the reasons that you would like to give to convince her for the same.

  • Motivation- if interns are paid stipend  they get motivation to work efficiently.
  • Satisfaction- efficiency in work also depends on the satisfaction of the interns.
  • Future employees- Interns may become future employees of the company. Hence they should have a good impression of the company.
  • Struggling interns- They need to develop self-confidence and financial independence which is possible through stipend given by the company.

Thus the success of a company depends on the contentment of its employees.
