on October 4, we all were decorating our house to celebrate the most long awaited festival diwali. My heart was filled with excitement to meet my father after a long gap of 6 years. but a call from the army headquarter left us stunned. There was some violence encountered at the border of our country. My father and a few of his squad members were reported missing and no one had any clue whether they were alive or dead. The lights adorning our house seemed to mock us with their brightness. My mother just sank onto the floor in shocked silence. My brother and my grandmother turned to me, helplessness filling their eyes.
