On passing carbon dioxide gas through freshly prepared limewater why does it turn milky?

When lime water react with carbon dioxide it converts into Calcium carbonate which is insoluble thus give milky white colour.
But on further exposure of carbon dioxide it converts into Calcium bicarbonate which is soluble thus it become transparent.
