S.P = Rs 750

Loss=10%

∴C.P = 100 / 100-loss%×S.P=100/90×750= Rs 833.33

Desired Gain % = 5%

∴S.P = 100+gain%/100×C.P=105/100×833.33=Rs 875.

Hence,S.P = Rs 875.(ans)

Answer:

875 Rs.

Step-by-step explanation:

If we sell a mobile for 750 Rs. then the shop keeper loses 10%.

Let us assume that the cost price of the mobile is x.

Hence, we can write that, 750 =x[1-(10/100)]

⇒ 0.9 x= 750

x= 750/0.9 =833.33 Rs.

Now, if we want to sell the same mobile to gain 5%, then the selling price will be = 833.33[1+(5/100)] =833.33×1.05 =875 Rs. (Answer)
