SP of the pen = Rs. 48

Loss % = 20

Therefore, Loss= 20% of RS. 48

=> Loss = Rs. (20/100 X 48)

=> Loss = Rs. 48/5 = Rs. 9.6

Now, C.P. of the pen = S.P + Loss

=> CP= Rs.(48 + 9.6)

        = Rs. 57.6  ( Approx. Rs 58)

Now, SP. = CP ( 100 + P%/ 100)

=> S.P. = Rs. 57.6 ( 100 + 20/100)

=> S.P. = Rs. 57.6 ( 120/100)

=> S.P = Rs. 57.6 X 1.2

=> S.P = Rs. 69.12  (ans.)
