Explanation:

The bubbles appear due to a gas called carbon dioxide dissolved in them. The gas and the liquid ( and everything else) are made up of tiny bit of stuff called molecules.

The science says that there is only a certain amount of carbon dioxide and once it is gone , the bubbles will stop.

hope this helps you.

On shaking any of the carbonated cold drink(limca our coke) some bubbles appears and later it disappears due to the presence of dissolved carbon dioxide.

  • Any carbonated cold drink contains carbon dioxide dissolved under pressure. It forms carbonic acid in the dissolved form. On shaking the bottle the gas tries to escape in the form of bubbles.
  • At this stage, if the bottle is opened and pressure is released, the undissolved gas tries to escape by creating a foam. The bubbles slowly disappear after all the dissolved gas has escaped.
  • If the bottle is not opened, the bubbles move about in the bottle and gradually get knocked off from the inner sides of the bottle. Thereby, they are forced to dissolve again and hence disappear after sometime.
