On sports day,if 30 children were made to stand in a column,16 columns could
be formed. If 24 children were made to stand in a column , how many columns
could be formed?

columns= 16 , x
x = 30×16/24 =20

From the problem, 30 children are standing in a column.

Therefore, in 16 columns there will be total of, 16 x 30 = 480 children.

Now, 24 children were made to stand in a column, in such a case if the number of students is same then,

480 children need to form 480 / 24

= 20 columns
