good morning/good afternoon everyone present over here.Today I'm going to deliver a speech on solar energy. Solar energy is a conventional energy that is been used all over the world these days, solar energy is obtained by a solar panel which consists of solar cells these cells absorb the sun light and then convert heat energy(that was absorbed from the sun light)  into mechanical and then into electrical energy. The history of solar energy begins from Leonardo Da Vinci's sketches which show that he had been designing techniques for harnessing solar energy. In 1757 a Swiss scientist named Horace de  Saussure started developing the solar energy collector which was also called the "hot box" after him there were many people who wrote about how solar power could be harnessed and there were people who made different kinds of solar harnessing devices until now. Solar energy is one of the best options for conserving electricity.
