On the water bottle they mention expiry date. Tell me whether the expiry date is for water or for the plastic bottle ?

According my view the expiry date on the water bottle is for water not for the plastic bottle because plastic is non-renewable thing which can't get spoil.

Yeah you're question has point but water we get in packed bottle are treated and so it may affect after certain period of time
