On what bases are the plant and animals put into different categaries ?

There are various bases by which we can put plant & animals into different catogaries :-

1) The mode of nutrition :-
In plant , there is hetrotropic mode of nutrition , but in animals there js autotropic mode of nutrition .

2) Mode of transportation :-
Plant carry out transportation through xylem & phloem but animals carry out transportation through artery & vein .

3) Mode of reproduction :-
Most if the plant show asexual mode of reproduction also , but in animals there is only sexual mode of reproduction .

4) Mode of respiration:-
Plant make energy by using CO2 in the presence of sunlight and releases O2, but animals consume O2 for breakdown of pyruvate & releases CO2 .

5) Plant don't show locomotion but animals show locomotion .
