Plants and animals differ due to following factors --

1) Mode of nutrition - While plants are autotrophic, animals are heterotrophic.

2) Mode of food storage - While plants store food as starch and lipids ,animals store food as glycogen and fat.

3) Presence of cell wall - While plants possess cell wall, animals don't have cell walls.

4) Locomotion - Plants are fixed at one position, but animals can locomote from one place to another.

5) Presence of different cell organelles - Plastids and larger vacuoles are present in plants .While Plastids are absent and smaller vacuoles are present in animals.

6) Growth - Growth in plants is unlimited i.e it goes on till death while in animals growth is limited up to a certain age.

hi folk
here is your answer :)

sorry instead of explaining point wise I would like to explain directly

fundamental difference is in the way in which animals and plants soak up carbon to kind healthy compounds. Plants are autotrophs, which means that that they meet their carbon necessities solely from carbon dioxide within the atmosphere, or from water in the case of water-living plants. Animals, being heterotrophs, are unable to make their own organic molecules and so need to take them in able-made by using eating crops and other animals. A few of the more apparent differences between plants and animals influence from this normal change. For illustration, animals are most likely cellular when you consider that they need to capture prey or graze, whereas a sessile tradition is adequate for a plant's requisites. Youngsters that we not often see mushrooms going for walks around the fields watching for whatever to eat, fungi, like animals, are heterotrophs. Their mobility comes from tiny spores. As every brief-lived iteration makes use of up its meals source, the spores so as to kind the subsequent generation are forged to the winds to search out new meals sources.

morphological differences
plant and animal cells are very an identical considering the fact that they are each eukaryotic cells. They each include membrane-certain organelles such as the nucleus, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, golgi apparatus, lysosomes, and peroxisomes. ... These constructions incorporate: chloroplasts, the cell wall, and vacuoles.

Progress in plants and animals. Most effective stem cells can differentiate into exceptional cellwall types. Other animal cell capabilities stay fixed. Stem cells are undifferentiated cells found in animals, that have the ability to grow into special tissues. but if u will look by the point view of physical chemistry at higher level (quantum level) there is no difference between them.

hope this will help u
