Loudness depends on the amplitude of the sound wave. The larger theamplitude the more energy the sound wave contains therefore the louder the sound. it also depend on it's frequencyand the pitch of sound.

Amplitude is a measure of the size ofsound waves. It depends on the amount of energy that started the waves.

Loudness of sound is measured in decibel (dB). As energy reaching the ear depends on square of amplitude, so loudness of sound depends on two factors (z) Amplitude of sound waves and sensitivity of ear

hyunxu: thank u soo much!!
