Resistance Of a conductor depends upon the following factors:-


1)Nature of the conductor

2)Law of length: Resistance of a conductor is directly proportional to its length.


If l is the length of a conductor and R is the resistance , then

R is directly proportional to L



3) Law of area of cross section : Resistance of a conductor is inversely proportional to its area of cross section.
