ONCE MATHMA GANDHI FOUGHT FOR OUR COUNTRY'S FREEDOM. HE URGED TO PEOPLE ABOUT THE SALT TAX THAT " ITS OUR LAND , OUR WATER ,OUR SALT , WHY DO WE NEED TO PAY FOR OUR THINGS . HE DID SO BECAUSE HE SAW THE STRUGGLE OF PEOPLE TO PAY TAX . BUT PRESENT SITUATION IS VERY BAD THAT THE GOVERNMENT IS INCREASING TAX , GST ON EACH AND EVERY PRODUCT. IT IS NOT CARING ABOUT THE STRUGGLE OF PEOPLE. THEN WHAT IS USE OF THE STRUGGLE GANDHI TOOK ?

At that time, what the British did that is, they bought cotton from India in a extreme low price and sent it to Britain for manufacturing.After that the clothes that they made from our cotton, were returned to India and very were sold very forcefully in an extreme high price.Not only this, the British used to collect high taxes from the peasants forcefully and bet those who couldn't afford that.
Now, Gandhi did what, he started to make clothes and salt by himself and not only this, he started boycotting British products and encouraged others also to do so.This was known as "Swadeshi Movement".
