Energy and current are not dissipated

because they are inversely proportional to reaistance .

Once the resistance drops to 0,

Energy = I^2RT,

therefore since R=0

Energy=0

therefore no energy is dissipated

Current = V/R

since R=0,

current becomes infinite.

Therfore maximum current flows through the wire.

Current flows and energy is not dissipated.

( Dissipation is the process by which energy is lost. )
