Once there lived a hermit in the forest of Aokigahara. As he was a hermit, he was alone and a person filled solitude. He was very kind to others and always helped people whenever in need. One day a foreigner lost his path in the forest. He didn’t know the hermit nor the forest. After walking a certain mile, he saw hermit sitting under a tree and meditating. The foreigner was afraid of asking the hermit as he thought that it would make him angry but somehow gathered courage and asked ,”I have lost my path in this forest, will you please guide me to the correct path?” . To his surprise, instead of seeing anger on hermit’s face, he saw tranquility and the will to help others. The hermit said, ”Sure, why not! But first you take some rest as you look quite tired. My house is just nearby, you can come with me have some rest, eat something and then walk on the path which I will guide you.”
The foreigner agreed to the hermit and followed him to his house. He could feel the beautiful aura around the hermit which radiated positive and energetic vibes. They both reached the house, the hermit made him comfortable to sit and offered some fruits to eat and water to drink. The foreigner was in complete astonishment as he had never seen someone as kind as the hermit. After completing a nap of a couple of hours, the hermit guided the foreigner the path of the forest. The foreigner thanked him up and took home a beautiful lesson of helping others from the hermit.
