Answer:

i) 1/13

ii) 1/2

iii) 7/13

iv) 1/52

v) 1/4

Step-by-step explanation:

Note:

Probability = No. of favourable output

No. of total output

  • total cards = 52
  • Therefore No. of total output = 52

i ) queen

There are 4 queen cards

No. of favourable output = 4

Probability = 4/52

=> Probability = 1/13

ii ) Black

No. of black cards = 13 + 13 = 26

No. of favourable output = 26

Probability = 26/52

=> Probability = 1/2

iii ) Either red or king

No. of red card = 13 + 13 = 26

No. of favourable output = 26

No. of king = 4

Probability = 26/52 + 4/52 - 2/52

=> Probability = 28/52 = 7/13

Note: As the total red card include 2 king it has been subtracted

iv ) '3' of heart

No. of cards '3' of heart = 1

No. of favourable output = 1

Probability = 1 /52

v ) a club

No. of club cards = 13

No. of favourable output = 13

Probability = 13/52

=> Probability = 1/4
