a) Since there are 12 face cards,
The no. of non face cards = 52-12
=40 cards

Therefore,
the probability of getting a non faced card = 40/52
= 10/13

total number of cards in a pack = 52

(i) Let E1 = Event of getting a red king

Number of red king = 2

Hence, probability of getting a red king,

P(E1) = 2 / 52 = 1 / 26

i hope it was helpful!!!

adarshjaiswal1: there is some mistake 40/50 is not equal to 5/4 it wilk be equal to 10/13
Arjunsharma365: Divide both the numerator and denominator by the GCD
40 ÷ 10
50 ÷ 10
Reduced fraction:
4
5
adarshjaiswal1: what is this
Arjunsharma365: reduced form or simplest form
Arjunsharma365: 4/5
adarshjaiswal1: total outcome is 52 then why are you writing 50
Arjunsharma365: srry by mistake i thought 50 thanks for telling
adarshjaiswal1: it's ok it happen sometime
