each holds 85
so,338 will be packed in 338÷85
3.94......
so she'll need 4 cartons
this is because the remaining soap will also need a carton

Dear Student,

● Answer -

No of cartoons = 4 cartoons

◆ Explaination -

Given that one cartoon can hold 85 soap bars.

To pack 338 soap bars, Shally need x no of cartoons.

No of cartoons = 338 / 85

No of cartoons = 3.976 cartoons

No of cartoons must be in integers. So, to pack 338 soap bars 4 cartoons are required.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
