Question is ------> Say true or false - One Celsius degree is an interval of 1K and zero degree Celsius is 273.15 K.
Solution :- relation between celcius and kelvin scale is given by
(C - 0)/100 = (K - 273.15)/100
Here, 100 denotes divisions of scale.
Here it is clear that , both the given scale (celcius and kelvin) have 100 divisions.
that's why change in celcius = change in Kelvin scale
So, 1°C is an interval of 1K.
Also, mean point in celcius scale is 0°C
And mean point in Kelvin scale is 273.15K
Then we can say, 0°C = 273.15K
Hence, statement is true that one celsius degree is an interval of 1K and zero degree celsius is 273.15K
