Answer:

r = 98 cm

R = 1 m 26 = 126 cm

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF TWO CIRCLES IS =

2πR - 2πr

OR , 2π ( R - r )

OR , 2 x 22/7 x ( 126 cm - 98 cm )

OR , 44/7 x (28 cm )

OR , 44 x 4 cm

OR , 176 cm

Given is the radius of two concentric circles as 98 cm and 1 m 26 cm respectively. And here, we need to find the difference between their circumferences.

Circumference of a circle = \tt{2 \pi r}

Let the radius of the circles be = r and R

Such that : r = 98 cm

R = 1 m 26 cm = 126 cm

The difference between their circumferences will be :-

\sf{2 \pi R - 2 \pi r}

We can here take \tt{2\pi} common from both the terms. Doing so, we get :

=》 \sf{2 \pi ( R - r )}

Put the values in the formula and solve it further :-

=》 \sf{2 \pi (126-98)}

=》 \sf{2 \times\frac{22}{7}\times 28}\\

=》 2 × 22 × 4

=》 176 cm

That's the answer ! It's 176 cm.
