HEYA MATE!!

HERE IS UR ANSWER...

THE P(E)= FAVOURABLE OUTCOME /TOTAL OUTCOME

CASE 1

WHEN A COIN IS FLIPPED..

THE NO. OF TOTAL OUTCOMES =2 (HEAD AND TAIL)

THE NO. OF FAVOURABLE OUTCOME =1(HEAD)

P(E) =FAVOURABLE OUTCOME/ TOTAL OUTCOME

=1/2

CASE 2

WHEN A DIE IS TOSSED...

THE NO. OF TOTAL OUTCOMES =6 (1,2,....,6)

THE NO. OF FAVOURABLE OUTCOME= 1 (5)

P(E) =FAVOURABLE OUTCOME/ TOTAL OUTCOME

=1/6
