- Let the number of side of polygon be = n
Since
- two angles are right angles , therefore number of each angle of 120° = (n-2)
So,
- sum of interior angle is = [2×90+(n-2)×120]
Also,
sum of interior angle of polygon of n side = [2n-4×90°]
Now,
→ [2×90+(n-2)×120] = (2n-4)×90
→ 180+(n-2)×120 = (2n-4)×90
→ 60+(n-2)×40 = (2n+4)×30
- Now, divide by 3
→ 60+40n-80=60n-120
→ -20+120=60n-40n
→ 100= 20n
→ 100/20=n
→ n=5
Hence,
The polygon have 5 sides
