one day i ask the son of my close friend about his age . the child replaied in a different way . He said one year ago my dad was 8 times as old as me and his age is equal to the square of my age. represent the above situtiation. in the the form quadratic equation .

Then according to question fathers age will be 8(x-1)
Also, x^2 = 8(x-1)
Or. X^2 - 8x + 8 = 0
