one diagonal of a rhombus is greater than other by 4. if the area of rhombus is 96 cm sq. find side of rhombus.

area of rhombus=
 \frac{1}{2} product \: of \: diagonals
96=1/2 x(x+4)
 {x}^{2}  + 4x - 192 = 0
(x+16)(x-12)=0.
diagonal is 12
side=36+64 root.
=10
