2.916 mm is the thickness of 5 Rs coin.

Explanation:

We know in one dozen coins, there are twelve 5 Rs coin.

                                  ⇒ 1 dozen coins = 12 coins

  Given that twelve, 5 Rs coins together form a height of 3 cm 5mm. ( given in the question)

 It means, height of twelve coins put together one above another (pile), the total height reached is three centimetre three milimetre.

                                 ⇒  H of twelve 5 Rs coins = 3cm 5mm = 35 mm

                                So, height of one 5 Rs coin = \frac{35}{12}

                                  ⇒   H of one 5 Rs coin = 2.916
