Starch and glycogen are the polymers of glucose.Starch is used for the storage of glucose in plants,but glycogen is mainly used by animals to store glucose. Both hemoglobin and chlorophyll have a porphyrin structure that binds with a central metal ion to form a complex essential to its metabolic activity.
