Assuming Bromine ....... Let me solve the problem.
As 1gram H2 combines with 80g of Br2
Equivalent mass of Br=80
4gm of Br2 combines with 1g of Ca
80 g of Br2 combines with ---?
=80x1/40=20gm
Hence equivalent mass of Ca is 20
