The lens will produce the complete image of the object, but its intensity will be less.
REASON: Even though one half is covered, light can pass through the other half and get refracted and can meet at a point which can produce the image. The image produced will follow the position rules of image in a convex lens. But the INTENSITY of the light will be LESS.
