One-half of Meera’s age two years from now plus one-third of her age three yearsago is twenty years. Find how old is she now?

let m is meena, 2 years from m + 2, 3 years ago m -3, 
one half = 1/2 ( m+) = m/ 2  + 1, 
one third = 1/3 ( m-3) = m/3 - 1
sum = m/2 + 1 + m/3 -1= 20 
m/2 + m/3 = 20
3m +2m = 120 
5m =120
m = 24

by the given condition
1/2(x+2)+1/3(x-3)=20
3(x+2)+2(x-3)=120          ..............multiply by 6
3x+6+2x-6=120
5x=120
x=24
hence the present age of meera is 24 years.
