Peer pressure (or social pressure) is the direct influence on people by peers, or an individual who gets encouraged to follow their peers by changing their attitudes, values, or behaviors to conform to those of the influencing group or individual. This type of pressure differs from general social pressure because it causes an individual to change in response to a feeling of being pressured or influenced from a peer or peer group. Social groups affected include both membership groups, in which individuals are "formally" members (such as political parties and trade unions), and cliques in which membership is not clearly defined. However, a person does not need to be a member or be seeking membership of a group to be affected by peer pressure.

Answer:

                                  PEER-PRESSURE

Good morning, esteemed teachers and students. Today I'd like to discuss peer pressure. Peer pressure is simply a demand placed on us by society. We will try to impress people based on their wishes and requirements. It is not difficult to succumb to peer pressure or other people's pleasure. These are things that we can all agree on. Peer pressure attempts to impose its constraints and conditions. It does not imply that peer pressure is incorrect. One should be put under pressure so that he or she can be inspired and reveal themselves in the field in which they want to be or are currently working. Peer pressure can be stated to be both positive and negative. Peer pressure, on the other hand, can greatly influence us all to develop one character and obtain a postgraduate diploma in a specific field. This will enable us all to be people in addition to hardworking competitors in one's field. When it comes to the negative one, peer pressure can lead to negative behaviour. It can have an impact on us as a person. You will be more vulnerable to its negative side effects, such as involvement in illegal activities. If the person is strong enough to fight them, they will almost certainly win. To summarise the topic, we can say that peer pressure has both advantages and disadvantages, but it all depends on how we perceive it. As previously stated, fighting the negative one can lead to a favourable experience. So it's advantageous to us. Thank you very much.
