you are going in a plane, as there is an engine failure , the plane's captain have decided to have an emergency landing in a water body.

the first instruction will be wearing an oxygen mask and then keeping our floaters ready,

in this situation most probably we will help ourself first and then save as many lives possible.

Why we do this is that we have to safeguard ourselves first so that we can effectively work in saving othe people's life.
